Kamp Keomany

This sums up my day:

Again, we did have another productive and engaging day of learning.

We wrote and shared our stories around our camp fire, we had lots of ELA & math review activities. The best part was having my students get to experience making friendship bracelets. Not one of my students knew how to make a friendship bracelet. There was a very eye opening experience as well. A couple of my girls knew how to braid so that is how they made their friendship bracelets. The shocking part was finding out how many of my little male friends had no idea how to tie their shoes so it was a long tedious lesson of teaching them how to tie knots.  I'm so appreciative that I have such a caring and loving group of students because I couldn't of held my sanity if I had to help them all. I even had a student come tell me "I had to R to stop talking and on concentrate at the task at hand" I know that many children mimic you and what you say but that just tops the cake. I can't express how much I adore these little ones.

Then after all these festivities our snack of the day was of course S'mores. I forgot to take a picture of those 😫 but my students seemed to enjoy them!!
